About Wisdom Oak Winery

Wisdom Oak Winery is a family owned and operated winery located in North Garden, Virginia. We are conveniently located just minutes south of Charlottesville, UVA and in the heart of the Monticello Wine Trail. Sitting on 206 acres, the estate has multiple varietals planted including Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.  We also have a larger vineyard located 3 miles away on Plank road where we source the rest of our fruit.

Winemaking Philosophy:
Our wines are produced in small batches so that we are able to highlight the best qualities of each varietal our vineyard produces. Our attention to detail in the vineyard and winery is how we produce such high quality wine.  

Why a Boutique Winery?
When traveling to many wine regions around the world, we always had the best experience as the smaller, off the beaten path wineries where we were the focus and not surrounded by crowds of people. That is the exact experience that we strive to deliver to every guest of our property.  You will find us pouring in the tasting room every day as this is our passion and love sharing it with others!
