2020 Rosewood

The Rosewood started as an accident in 2015 and grown into a cult favorite at the winery! It has also varied from vintage to vintage starting with Cab Franc in 2015, a blend in 2016- 2018 using various oak barrels and Cab Sauv in 2019 aged in Virginia oak.  This 2020 vintage was also aged in Virginia oak but was done in a less traditional, bleed method.  The vintage is 100% Petit Verdot and is all of the juice after one day of cold soaking the grapes.  This allows for the juice to be pink due to the limited skin contact, but also made the 2020 Petit Verdot more concentrated.  For those who have done the reserve table tasting, the feedback has been fantastic, so we are very excited to release this wine.  (46 Cases Produced)
